Full-Time Software Development Gnome

we are looking for an experienced coder to collaborate with our design group in the ongoing maintenance and new feature development of 3 software applications, utilizing Ruby on Rails (w/ Apache and Phusion Passenger) and a traditional LAMP stack using the CakePHP framework. We are currently exploring new mobile-platform specific web options, ie: iphone, android and we are still fighting amongst us about the ipad. You will participate in both new feature design and development and good ol' bug fixing. You will have the opportunity to bring innovative ideas to the table, and execute them (if they are good :) ). Full-time starting immediately, permanent position.

Ideal Skills/Qualifications:

• Object oriented languages, specifically; 
  
• Ruby on Rails - basic understanding or eagerness to understand req'd. 
• PHP/MySQL (LAMP)
• HTML, XML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript. if you have never heard of jQuery, don't bother applying.

Based on client demand, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced public relations liaison, to facilitate the development of a local PR initiative within thenumber. responsibilities will include collaborating with our development group in the creation of a P.R. strategy for multiple clients, focusing on maximizing opportunities to raise their public profile within our existing marketing strategies as well as executing specific P.R. campaigns, and developing existing and new press relationships.
